These units are economically great for people on a budget who need a life-saving AED to be there if and when someone goes into sudden cardiac arrest. All Zoll AED Plus Recertified units go through our 10-step recertification process.

What is the 10-step recertification process? 

• The device is thoroughly cleaned
• Visual inspection to ensure the AED is in acceptable cosmetic condition
• AED is upgraded to current AHA guidelines
•  AED is turned on to initiate self-test
• New pads and batteries are installed if required.
• Pads and battery expiration information is recorded.
• Each unit is connected to a Fluke Impulse 7000 defibrillator analyzer to ensure joule output is within FDA guidelines.
• Device information is recorded and stored.
• Tracking information is sent to the manufacturer. 
• AED is packed by shipping regulations.

• Rescuers are guided through CPR with voice and text prompts, letting them know when to push harder or if the compressions are good.
