The Zoll AED Pro sealed lithium-manganese dioxide battery is to be used exclusively by the Zoll AED Pro. Professionals that will not deploy the AED Pro frequently are the recommended users because of its low maintenance. The battery will last in the AED Pro up to 4 years if not used in a rescue without ever having to recharge it. Always carry a fully charged spare battery for backup during a cardiac arrest emergency.
